Specific information about the website
Use of Cookie-Consent-Tool
This website uses the Cookie-Consent-Tool Borlabs of the provider Mr. Benjamin A. Bornschein, Georg-Wilhelm-Str. 17, 21107 Hamburg, Germany (“Borlabs”), which sets two technically necessary cookies (“borlabsCookie” and “borlabsCookieUnblockConten “t) to store your cookie preference. Use of a newsletter
When registering for our newsletter, you provide us with your e-mail address and optionally other data (company, title, first name and surname). We use this information exclusively to send you the newsletter. The data you enter when registering for the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from our newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time by using the link provided in the newsletter or by sending us a message to this effect. By unsubscribing, you object to the promotional use of your email address.
Furthermore, we use your e-mail address, which we receive in connection with the sale of a good or service, exclusively for direct advertising in the form of our newsletter for our own similar goods or services, such as those ordered by you, unless you have objected to this use. You can object to the use of your e-mail address at any time without incurring any costs other than the transmission costs according to the basic rates. Your objection (and thus the cancellation of our newsletter) can be exercised by sending a corresponding message to our e-mail address (see imprint).
Usage data
When you call up our web pages, you transmit data to our web server (out of technical necessity) via your internet browser. The following data is recorded during an ongoing connection for communication between your internet browser and our web server:
– Date and time of the request
– Name of the requested file
– Page from which the file was requested
– Access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.)
– Web browser and operating system used
– complete IP address of the requesting computer
– amount of data transferred.
For reasons of technical security, in particular to defend against attempted attacks on our web server, we store this data for a short period of time. It is not possible for us to draw conclusions about individual persons on the basis of this data. After seven days at the latest, the data is anonymised by shortening the IP address at domain level, so that it is no longer possible to establish a link to the individual user. The data is also processed in anonymised form for statistical purposes; it is not compared with other data or passed on to third parties, not even in extracts.
Web analytics using Matomo
We use the Matomo tool to design our website in line with demand. This is a so-called web analysis service. In order to record and analyse the use of our website, usage information is transmitted to our server and stored for analysis purposes. Your IP address is only processed in abbreviated form during this process and is thus anonymised. If you wish to prevent processing for analysis purposes, you can object at any time in the cookie consent tool.

In order to provide you with the OpenStreetMap map services, the service collects your IP address when you access the site and transmits it to an OpenStreetMap server, where it is stored.

Use of tracking tools for online marketing
Facebook-Pixel
This website uses the so-called “Facebook Pixel” of the social network Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Quare, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Facebook”), on the basis of consent.
If a user clicks on an advertisement placed by us and played on Facebook, an addition is added to the URL of our linked page by Facebook Pixel. If our site allows data to be shared with Facebook via Pixel, this URL parameter is inscribed in the user’s browser via a cookie that our linked site sets itself. This cookie is then read by Facebook Pixel and enables the data to be forwarded to Facebook.
With the help of the Facebook Pixel, it is possible for Facebook, on the one hand, to determine the visitors to our online offer as a target group for the display of advertisements (so-called “Facebook Ads”). Accordingly, we use the Facebook pixel to display the Facebook ads placed by us only to those Facebook users who have also shown an interest in our online offer or who have certain characteristics (e.g. interests in certain topics or products determined on the basis of the websites visited), which we transmit to Facebook (so-called “Custom Audiences”). With the help of the Facebook pixel, we also want to ensure that our Facebook ads correspond to the potential interest of the users and do not have a harassing effect. This allows us to further evaluate the effectiveness of the Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes by tracking whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on a Facebook ad (so-called “conversion”).
The data collected is anonymous for us, so it does not allow us to draw any conclusions about the identity of the users. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes, in accordance with the Facebook data usage policy (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/). The data may enable Facebook and its partners to serve ads on and off Facebook.
You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your revocation, remove the checkmark next to the setting for the “Facebook Pixel” in the cookie consent tool embedded on the website.

LinkedIn Insight-Tag
This website uses the so-called “LinkedIn Insight Tag” of the social network LinkedIn, which is operated by LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“LinkedIn”), on the basis of consent.
If a user clicks on an advertisement placed by us that is played on LinkedIn, an addition is added to the URL of our linked page by LinkedIn Insight. If our site allows data to be shared with LinkedIn via LinkedIn Insight, this URL parameter is inscribed in the user’s browser via a cookie that our linked site sets itself. This cookie is then read by LinkedIn Insight and enables the data to be forwarded to LinkedIn.
With the help of LinkedIn Insight, it is possible for LinkedIn, on the one hand, to determine the visitors to our online offer as a target group for the display of advertisements (so-called “LinkedIn ads”). Accordingly, we use LinkedIn Insight to display the LinkedIn Ads placed by us only to those LinkedIn users who have also shown an interest in our online offer or who have certain characteristics (e.g. interests in certain topics or products determined on the basis of the websites visited), which we transmit to LinkedIn (so-called “Custom Audiences”). With the help of LinkedIn Insight, we also want to ensure that our LinkedIn ads correspond to the potential interest of the users and do not have a harassing effect. This allows us to further evaluate the effectiveness of the LinkedIn ads for statistical and market research purposes by tracking whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on a LinkedIn ad (so-called “conversion”).
The data collected is anonymous for us, so it does not allow us to draw any conclusions about the identity of the users. However, the data is stored and processed by LinkedIn so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and LinkedIn can use the data for its own advertising purposes, in accordance with the LinkedIn data usage policy (https://www.linkedin.com/legal/cookie-policy). The data may enable LinkedIn and its partners to place advertisements on and outside LinkedIn.
You can revoke your given consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your revocation, remove the tick next to the setting for the “LinkedIn Insight” in the cookie consent tool embedded on the website.
