What did you do before joining NESS?
After training as a bank clerk, I gained my first professional experience in the bank before my path finally led me to Deutsche Post and then on to NESS Wärmetechnik.
Why did you start at NESS?
Through a friend who had already started at Ness and another current colleague, I independently became aware of an exciting position in the company at exactly the right time, as I was looking for a new challenge anyway.
What is your day-to-day work at NESS like? What arIch bin verantwortle your daily tasks?
I am responsible for document management – from checking and archiving incoming documents to creating customer-specific documentation for our systems and products. I am also responsible for creating and checking relevant documents and, if necessary, revising operating instructions in close collaboration with the design, electrical engineering and commissioning departments.
What do you like best about your job? What do you enjoy most?
When there is a new project, I make sure that all the relevant information for complete customer documentation comes together. I collect drawings, lists and orders, check supplier documents and compile the necessary internal documents.
The most exciting part for me is putting all the pieces of the puzzle together until I end up with structured and complete documentation.
What has been your favourite experience at NESS so far?
The summer party and the Christmas party during my first year at the company – a great opportunity to get to know the team better. Through relaxed conversations away from the daily work routine, I was able to experience many colleagues from a new perspective and familiarise myself even better with the company.
What would new colleagues need to bring with them to fit in at NESS?
The ability to work in a team, personal responsibility and the willingness to acquire new knowledge and respond flexibly to change – these are key strengths for me.
How would you describe the working atmosphere at NESS?
That it is better to do things thoroughly and correctly, especially by coordinating with colleagues from different departments. Good teamwork and solution-orientated cooperation make all the difference.
What makes NESS special for you as an employer?
The family atmosphere in general and the cross-departmental cooperation are crucial to finding the best possible solutions. At the same time, I appreciate the personal responsibility and the variety of new challenges, so it’s always exciting.
