What did you do before your time at NESS?

Before joining NESS, I completed an apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic. In 2020, I then began my further training to become a certified technician.

Why did you decide to join NESS?

I was given the opportunity to write my technician thesis at NESS in the field of mechanical design. Today, I work in the design and planning department.

What does your daily work at NESS look like? What are your typical tasks?

I spend most of my time planning piping systems and designing pump stations, equipment, and pressure vessels.
Emails and phone calls with customers are just as much a part of my daily work as planning and designing in 3D.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

What I enjoy most is seeing the parts I designed being fully built and assembled in the production area.

What has been your best experience at NESS so far?

I really enjoy our company events, as well as the shared outings to the Cannstatter Wasen.

What should new colleagues bring with them to fit in at NESS?

They should fit well into the team. We work very closely together and have a relaxed, open way of interacting with one another, which makes working here especially enjoyable.

How would you describe the working atmosphere at NESS?

The working atmosphere is very good. There is always a lot to do, so it never gets boring.

What makes NESS special as an employer for you?

Reliability. It is not a problem to take spontaneous time off when something important comes up.
