What did you do before worked at NESS?
I come from the Ruhr area and grew up, and did my schooling there. I moved to Swabia twenty years ago and feel very much at home here.
After completed my training in industrial administration and finance in Dortmund, I worked in various sectors, and undertook further training in financial accountancy, salaries and wages and controlling.
I also became a fully qualified apprentice trainer. I value this role both professionally and personally. I really enjoy using my professional experience to support and train the school leavers and graduates in their working life.
Why did you decide to work for NESS?
I applied for the job at NESS as I was looking for a full time job, having previously worked part time; so that I could look after my son. The interview was very open and friendly and the job offer met all my expectations.
What is your working day like at NESS? What are your daily tasks?
My day-to-day work has many areas of responsibility and range from financial accounting to human resources. They vary from checking and recording the bank statements, dealing with our employees’ salaries to answering individual personnel questions.
What do you like best about your job? What task do you enjoy the most?
I really like the fact that my work is extremely varied. Also the fact that I have a lot of responsibility. I really appreciate my work colleagues bringing me new challenges and tasks to do every day.
What has been your best moment at NESS?
That is really a difficult question. However, what I would like to say, I really enjoy working for NESS.

The core competencies are helpfulness, team spirit and flexibility.
How do you describe the atmosphere at NESS?
As NESS is a family-run; medium sized company, everyone knows each other and this creates a pleasant atmosphere. Any uncertainty and difference of opinions are soon resolved.
What makes NESS as an employer special to you?
The fact that working with my colleagues and the management are so easy going. Everyone helps each other regardless of their position.
